The Characteristics of Silicone Rubber Insulated Cable

Application:
600v Silicone Rubber Insulated Cables are characterized by their high temperature resistance up to + 250°C combined with permanent flexibility. Due to the reticulated molekular structure keep their original form even with temperature influence. Silicone cables are halogen-free. Futhermore, it is the only material on silicium basis treated by us with which the maintenance of function in case of fire can be reached. Silicone rubber insulatd wires are used in steel works, rolling mills and foundries for the internal wiring of lamps or in glass and ceramic treatment.
Standard:
UL758, UL62, UL1581
Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength: ≥3.45N/mm²
Elongation at break of insulation: ≥100%
Min.Bending radius: 6×OD
Advantage:
Silicone rubber insulated wire has very good flexibility and good performance of resistance to high temperature, range from -55ºC up to 180ºC. The use of silicone rubber, a high grade corona resistant insulation material, gives the cable excellent dielectric strength. The braided synthetic yarn covering, which is applied directly over the insulation, gives the cable, because of its short braiding pitch and high compactness, an excellent mechnical protection by maintaining good flexibility. The varnishing of the braiding results in good antifriction properties, high abrasion resistance and excellent chemical resistance against transformer oil, light fuel oil and most types of cleaning agents. In the event of fire, no corrosive and toxic gases will be given off. Hence, damage caused by fire can be kept to minimum.
Choose Right Size Cable:
We will guide you to choose the wire you need as below,
10AWG - big lipos >5,000mAh 12AWG - Big lipos >3,300mAh, biggest that will fit 4mm bullets etc.
14AWG - Most commonly used on SubC NiMH packs, lipos >2,000mAh motors etc.
16AWG - Airsoft mini batteries, Lipos >1300mAh 18AWG - AA power packs, Lipos >1,000mAh
20AWG - Small power packs, thickest wire that will fit JST connector, Mini-T connectors etc.
22AWG - Receiver batteries, commonly used for Futaba, JST, connectors, LED & low power lighting etc
24AWG - Light weight receiver batteries, LED lighting etc
