The Characteristics of Solar PV Wire

Application:
Solar pv wire applied to solar panels for power generation and related components of the wiring, connection, particularly suitable for outdoor. Resistance to sunlight, anti-aging, using the low smoke halogen-free flame retardant materials, higher grade, more safety.
Standard:
Adapted to PV systems, 2 Pfg 1169 / 08.2007 and EN 50618:2015.

Solar PV Wire Advantage:
PV modules operate at high temperatures and are exposed to a variety of environmental conditions. The NEC limits various PV array applications to USE-2 or PV wire. These solar pv cables need to meet the required sunlight resistance and temperature ratings for the environment. Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Wires are manufactured for use in photovoltaic applications, while USE-2 cable types are typically manufactured for underground service entrance applications. Both cable types commonly contain XLPO insulation and can be sunlight resistant and rated for direct burial.
